Project Duster

Follow along on another Moparsupercenter.com build up. My 1971 Duster drag car gets a 410 Mopar Performance stroker motor.

Cool, I bought a new Gold Duster package in 1972. Red with partial black vinyl roof, 225 slant 6 with a Torqueflite. Had Ralley wheels with blackwalls.

Whenever MSC wants to tackle on an 06 Charger project, just give me a buzz. hehe

You guys have some great projects going on.

 

Yea, we cannot wait until we bust this one off.
The old engine, a basically stock 360 with heads, cam, and happy juice would tote the front tires to nearly the 60' mark. We can't wait to see what this 410 does on all grunt, no happy juice. Think we might be in the market for a set of wheelie bars or at least a rear bumper skid plate.

 

I made some progress the last few days. The radiator,cooling fan,electric water pump and transmission cooler are now installed.


Hopefully I will get her fired up and have some video this weekend.

Come on Jeff, ditch that old Radiator and go the aluminum route. haha

 

Sweet, I live that body style, always wanted one, Sorry to say but my GCSRT is my first mopar!!!! Been a chevy and Ford man until this year, and man im a glad now !!

 

Ahh, but at least you saw the light...Some people never do.:dumb:

 

You buy and we will install it!......LOL J/k. If I race the car next year I will put a aluminum one on it.
