I admit, I´m an idiot, but what is the difference between a Vortech and a Procharger?
    All input is wellcome!

Similar superchargers from 2 different companies. The main difference between the 2 is that Vortech uses a water to air intercooler and Procharger uses an air to air intercooler.

Ok, anyone with experience from procharger?
I can see the benefits of not having the waterintercooler, anything else?

Vortech guys love Vortechs and ProCharger guys love ProChargers. Here's my standard advice:

    1) Go with whomever your installer / tuner is most comfortable.
    2) Plan on getting a CMR tune with the install. I wouldn't do it any other way.
    3) Boost is boost. 6psi in either unit will make roughly the same power.
    4) Get the pretty one. In your opinion of course.

Vortech if u want to run 9's like Hemi~C and the Speedfactory Charger!!!

But really they are very similar.....main difference is obviously the cooling systems but Procharger has a larger selection of blowers whereas with Vortech you have the V3 si trim, then V2 t trim, then the mega YSI blower

All in all the Vortechs have proven to be the most reliable and top performing on stock hemis....but you take the risk with any forced induction

Haha, not looking to get into the 9´s, more looking at getting to kindergarden and to be able to hold my own on the freeway...
Reliability is a BIG thing to me, and thats why I´m not going crazy, yet...
