I received my Predator, have loaded, upgraded, reloaded, removed...more times than I care to admit to. I am obviously doing something wrong!

Which cable should I use and when?

    When do I update?

Any tried and true method you've used to make it work? To get the right set up? Version analysis and upgrades???

I'm bamboozled...not ready to give up but I'm stuck!!!

Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance!!!

Hmmm....did you get the latest DCX update and install it first? From there it is as easy as saving your stock tune as a back up, downloading whatever version you have, and installing the "performance CAI 91/93" tune. What exactly have you done?

    Rick,

Mine came with a previous version. I'll download 18 and give it a try. The first upgrade download didn't work, then when I tried to load the programmer, it failed. Thank goodness my stock tune survived!

I'm probably in too much of a hurry to get it done. I don't have a lot of time to play around so get a little frantic trying to get from one thing to another.

I will go get the latest version and map out adequate time in my schedule to sit and RTFM (Read The F**king Manual) before I take another step.

It wasn't like this for my Hypertech Programmer in the ImpalaSS or the Yukon!!! LOLOLOL

    Thanks for the response, Rick.

    Michael,

I'm trying to see if you ever installed the "DCX Calibration Update". You need this prior to installing ANY of the latest tune versions.

Some people just aren't compatible with these kinds of things. I say set yourself free, you sound like a busy man who doesn't need the aggravation. send it to me, I'll give you $200 for it.

    Rick,

I'll read up on the DCX calibration today as well. Thanks for the tip!
