Im SERIOUSLY considering powdercoating my stock rims black or black chrome if there was a good chroming company in NY.

I photochopped a pic last nite to see how they would look and I was pleasantly suprised, I LIKED IT!

    What do you guys think?

What about a charcoal color or competition gray (whatever the hell that color is that the Viper wheels are)...i think that would look pretty sweet too

Not bad will consider, I like how the caliper stands out on the black rims. Just gives me a warm fuzy feeling inside

Looks great. I'm not so good with posting pics so send me a PM with your e-mail if you want some pics.

I got a good deal. $60 each w/ lugs included to powdercoat and $60 each for red stripe painted on.

I just got quoted $115 a rim lugs and all except centercaps, they would melt in the oven. In NY everything doubles in price, unreal.

He guarantees them for the life of the car and he is close to me, like 10 minutes away.

How difficult is removing and installing the TPS's?

Talk to me about the centercaps, what do I need to do? Spray paint them?

I had to go to the shady side of town to get a low price on the powdercoating. Remove the centercaps (pop out) and TPMS (unscrew at stems) and take off balance weights/adhesive before dropping them off to ensure things go smoothly. I spray painted my center caps and they've held up for almost a year now.

Well I have an appointment for monday to bring the beast in to get the rims done in Vulcan black powdercoat.

I will be using Action Powdercoating in Long Island, EVERYONE I have asked has refered me to these guys, plus he gave me a great deal to remove, powdercoat, rebalance and reinstall. Im pretty pumped about this, it may not increase HP but the BLING factor just went up IMHO

    Here is there link, http://www.actionpowdercoat.com/main.htm
