powder coating question

    Don't even think about painting them. If you can get a reputable shop to give you a guarantee that they won't lift or peel for a few years then you might think about it but definitely plan on going back. Your wheels a are the harshest place for paint. Down on the road, extreme heat from the brakes, blasted by water in the rain, etc. First the clear cloat will lift off and then the base coat will oxidize. Powder coat does much better holding up against all that.
