i am VERY lucky to only have a 14 mile round trip commute!! 7 each way baby!!! i LOOOOOVE it!!!

yeah...i have seen some decent houses pretty close to where i work

when i left cali steve, i swore i would not ever live more than 10 miles from my office!!! i had a 130 mile round trip commute from the central valley into the easy bay that just was brutal!!!

 

honestly...its the first like 5 miles of my trip that kills me...its from my house to the highway...

but getting out of Westchester county and one of the most expensive counties in the world to live will be good lol

well the thing is....where i work...when the market comes back...will go way up cuase its still witihn range of NYC on the train...but now its pretty down...ill probably get a $400,000 house for $300ish

 

now is a good time to be a buyer!!!

i get a first time home buyer thing as well!...so i get like $20k towards my closing costs and crap like that cause im cool

haha...well with my construction background im gonna buy a house that needs TLC and while im living there ill fix it up so that whenever the hell i do need to move i can sell it and hopefully make some $$...

and before anyone says "careful its a big project"

my old job was a construction manager building multi million dollar houses and i am trained in carpentry as well as all the other little goodies like building/installing cabinets and things like that lol....

plus this isnt buying it to sell it...its buying it to live in...and just while im living there building it up lol :king:

yeah...it should be good...and a lot of the houses where im looking are out dated so some seirious updates would REALLY improve the value...

even something as simple as a central air system (which like NO houses have up there)...should be sweet...

but hte main reason (besides the shorter commute)...I NEED A GARAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

WHAAAAT!!!!! you have no garage???? i thought that was a prerequisite of owning an srt vehicle???? blasphemy i say!!!!

 

i make up for it by literally washing it or cleaning it in some way every single day hahahaha

I have a garage too, but its filled with kiddie toys now...Ever since I sold my Firehawk I gave up the garage to the kids.lol Plus, the Charger is pretty wide and doesn't have alot of room to open the doors.
