    I have no prayer of making the show.

    but now they do a Quick 8 contest, and I think I have a pretty decent chance of being one of the quickest 8 door cars in the field. Should be around 8.50 or better.

    Practice is May 29th, Event is May 30th. (Friday and Saturday)

    A real man would have REGISTERED for Pinks himself, and been in Indy the week after the Indy 500.

    As of right now, I'm in. I'll probably take a half day on the 29th so I can be down there by 5:00ish like I usually do.

    Actually Charles owns ProDyno in Tempe, AZ. He built an amazing full stainless steel over the axle exhaust system for my 1999 Z28. Said he would never do one again. Mike from AZ Power and Sound started his business sharing space with him. I hung out there from time to time with Mike. Saw Charles at the track once in a while too. He had that Vega with black carpet on it, call Wooly Mammoth, that was on Pinks.
