Fully agree Stevo, LT was the difference. The way Brady played, with LT in there the Chargers win. He's a huge part of their O especially in the red zone and that's what cost them the game, imo. Although give Bilichick credit for changing up the game plan. He gave Brady till the 3rd quarter then decided that was enough and switched to the run. Two tight ends, two full back sets and boom Muroney is through the hole and they win. That last drive that ran out the clock was a thing of beauty. It's actually quite impressive to see coaching of this calibur and it's the real reason they're 18-0, imo.
I think the pats coulda had a better defensive game plan...they shoulda destroyed rivers cause he was not as mobile...blitz the hell outa him...but thats why I am not a coach haha
They're too old, the guys are too tired after 18 games (not counting preseason and training camp). This is it for them, their last chance for a super bowl before some serious changes take place.
Yea, I meant for them to get another ring. They're too stinking old to last the season anymore. Teams are running all over them and that's where age really rears it's ugly head. That's why I say if the Bolts had LT they win that game. The Giants now with Jacobs, oh man, he's gonna plow right through them! He'll get a 100 yard rushing game easy, question is ... will it be enough?
that depends on how well our 2nd and 3rd string (or in one case former practice squad guy) cna play in the secondary hahaha
