pass time on speed

i'm sitting here watching pass time and they have a guy that says his evo has over 600hp and he runs a 12.xx. then they have a gcsrt thats a "supercharged 426" and the guy runs a 12.9.

 

Well, I can say that I have over 900whp in my neon...but that won't make it true.

 

if hes got a SC GCSRT8 with a 426 in it...and hes running 12.9x...

he better be in himalayas or something

 

They ran a rental Charger once. It was a V6. Ran a 16 or 17. It was hillarious.

I have noticed here lately they are getting alot of stock cars. The show the other nite there were a few 16 second passes.

 

and racing up the mountain...lol

 

I love that show...I'm usually pretty close to the times.

 

Yea, I just watched that last night too marky, those evos were funny. The host guy didn't really believe that guy had 600 horses in that anyway. I thought that Jeep ran an 11 something?? How bout those bikes tho, man those were both faaaaaaaaaaaast!! Or how bout that girl that's the wife of one of the guys on Pinks that ran that low rider with 13s!! 18 secs at 50 something mph, hahahhahahhahahaaaaaa, what a joke.

What gets me bout this show (I've been watching for a few weeks now) is more times than not it seems to me the MPHs don't match the times these guys are getting. I know there's a lot of variables involved (things break and guys lift) but there's a basic corelation between time and mph and I think there's some playing around going on, it happens too much otherwise. How many guys run 11s at 109 mph. Or 10s at 115. Or 118 mph in 14 secs. They playin!

 

yeah, that 17yr old that ran a low 9 on a busa he's never even ridden before. i know most ppl there dont wanna break their cars on that show but most of those ppl just have no clue what their doing and don't think ppl will call them on their b.s.

 

same here, you can jump in at any part of the show and not miss a thing! last night i was off by at least a second on just about all the cars. how about that 9.5x mustang lookin thingy w/the chute!

Yea, that was kind of a shock!! He ran right after that sweet black GTO and yellow Chevy (Nova? Chevelle??) drag cars that ran low 10s and beat both their times, that was impressive!!
