Well first off i would like to say up until now I loved my Zoomers.I originally bought these from Ron,about 2 years ago or so.About a year and a few months later the resinator material inside broke loose on the driver side and made a Ghay whistling sound..So I thought about contacting Zoomers and see what they would do.But instead I said fuk it and had them hacked off and put SS tips on there.Well low and behold it sounded great!!,So i left it alone.Well a couple of weeks ago i get this greaking crazy rattling sound from the drivers side, put it up on the lift and found that material came loose in the muffler.PM'd Zoomers yesterday explaining them my story and all I got was a quote for 250.00 each for new mufflers.thats right each!!! Im like WTF not a im sorry this happened nothing nothing .. You would think that a product like that would, should outlast the freakin car..I have had POS floor toasters last 10 years if not more.I could damn near get a new exhaust for that,Especially after I pay someone to weld them in....Well Thanks for the rant I feel better now... Not really:crying: PS Any suggestions for replacment mufflers that are not so pricey??
I've had mine over two years an no problems. Who did you speak to at Zoomers? They usually do pretty good service there for us. I guess being "second hand" the warranty wouldn't help out any? Hope it works out for you.
Wow scott, after two different systems on mine and no problems.....well this sucks. Let me call Ron tomorrow and see if there is anything I can do for you bud.
Man that stinks, I have always heard good things about them! With that said...Bassani and their Lifetime Warranty FTW!
You know what Kris,Im glad you chimmed in.Lisa offered me a killer deal on a set and i forgot all about it,Im going to check my funds and give her a shout in the next couple of days..Thanks
May 16th I had my 426 installed with "modified" cats. As my car was moved to the dyno we could all hear a "gay whistling sound" coming from both exhaust tips. Sounded like a chirp at idle and whistling at anything above. Zoomers are a little over a year old. Long story short, after speaking with Frank and Ron, I paid $260 for two new "cannon" tips. They were aware of newly "modified" cars blowing out the tips. Shipping was free. They are awaiting install after my other parts arrive.
I agree, and believe that Ron should pay for the repairs, seeing how he sold you some beat up shit.
