Did the First oil change on the 600 mile R/T today. Filter was installed by He-man has to desrtoy it to get it off, but I digress so anyways Installed 0w20 Mobil 1 Fuel Economy since it meets the warranty requirements of Chrysler. 8qts and an MO-899 filter later my claking 5.7 motor is now quiter. stange. but ill take it. Also took advantage of the time to install the SSE from speedInc. so we'll see how that goes. any one else running this oil?
Yes really. I didnt put the oil in for the "fuel economy" that is the only way that mobil sells their 0w20. I run the 0w30 in my SRT 4 so the oil moves quicker on start up. But I was surprised how dirty the oil was for 647 miles.
