sunday afternoon i threw a P0031 code for my O2 sencor and went off shortly after. so monday i went to pick one up and autozone didnt have any nor did checkers so i went to Napa and they had one CEL light was off when i pulled in to the drive way after i changed it and started it, it idled funny and the light came on. i disconnected the battery and tried again and it still idled funny and light was on. so i took the new on off and put the old one back on and right away the light went off and car idled fine. the one i got from Napa was a boush #15510 which was an OEM replacement does anyone know the correct one. or a different one that i can order form somewhere or get localy? car has 95k+
Hey Nevin, Here is a novel idea, keep the original O2 in. Why are you replacing it? Because it threw 1 code that disappeared a short time later? That could have been a hiccup? Otherwise, go to the dealer and get one.
today it came on/off 3 times on my way to work. i wanna replace it. paulas off today and running some erins so i had to drive it. dammit since zangaras closed i have to drive all the way over to your side of town to get it now!!! :wallbash:
ok the one i have is for an 04-05 upstream, i asked for an 03 and got an 04-05 so im guessing the 03s are different. doing more research
Which one is it? The upstream or downstream? The downstream gets ignored by the Stage pcm but needs to be left plugged in. Cheryl's is tied in open air on the crossmember. If its the upstream then it could be the wires on it getting pinched. It happened to me. The code was on and off like what's happening to you. I moved the wires and never threw the code again.
Spoke to my parts guy you need part # 15302 for OEM specs or # 15730 for Univ this is PRE CAT 02 sensor Post Cat is # 15301 The one he sold you (15510) is for 2004 and up
thats what i came back to post. its a 15302 or 13672 one superseeds the other. and i made a call and found on down town. up stream the P0030, P0031, P0032 are for bank 1 sensor 1 and ive got almost 100k i think its time to replace it.
I'm on my cell phone so it was hard for me to look up the code to see which one you were actually talking about. I skipped over the post you stated which one it was though by mistake haha. Good ol phone scrolling lol. But yeah true if you have 100k or almost that then yeah best bet is to replace it.
