Was driving home through traffic tonight, lightens up a little bit around 7. Had a Infiniti G35 pulling through traffic tight behind me so we were zipping around a bit ... then I notice hey, is that an NSX with nice fat rear tires? Prolly 315's. Nice. I zipped by him, G35 zips along with me, NSX pulls behind the G35 and steps it up. Game on!

Dodged around him a bit as we came to the end of Highway 87 as it merges into Highway 85, I typically do a nice 110 run up the overpass and take the turn around a fast 90, love that corner hehe. NSX wasn't far behind me at all, we both get off at the exit, make our right hand turns onto Blossom Hill Road. Huh. Red light. 3 empty lanes. I pull the middle, he pulls left, we both look. He nods. :thumb3: I nod. Just for fun I staged at 2k rpm, light turned green, I heard his tires turn a few times before he hooked up, I ROASTED mine hahaha across the intersection, he pulls 3/4ths of a length until the traction picks up as I shift into 2nd. 1.5 blocks short blocks, red light, 3 empty lanes.

2nd light. We smile and chuckle. Wait for light. Wait. Wait. Wait. :what: Wait. Goddammit this thing ever gunna turn? GREENLIGHT! We both turned the wheels twice and launched at the same moment, I got him by about my headlights by the 2nd crosswalk, at 4k rpm I heard him shift and saw him lurch forward and pull, I hear 5k rpm coming, shifts, CHIRP, my baby does her little 1st 2nd shuffle, and I'm up out. Half length. Length. Green traffic light, it's a race! 3rd gear, 2 lengths, NSX? What NSX?

We lifted when he had a car eventually occupying his lane ahead, he disengaged around my rear then to the right, we both gave laughing waves ... he was a pretty good sport for having his originally $80k Acura :gtfoslap: stomped by a 5000 pound luxury sedan

How was your commute home? :ilovesrtc:

Since you are around Blossom Hill Road, do me a favor and swing by my old house. Snell and Santa Theresa. actuall, after passing Santa Theresa on Snell (heading west) go another 1/2 a mile to Cree Dr, make a right, then another 1/4 mile is Cree Ct. That is where I grew up. Woot.

LOVE the NSX... always have... I was going to buy one for my girl (very rare one with Auto trans.), from my friend here in town. But, before we made the deal, he was killed when one street racer (a kid in a Mustang) lost control during a race with a 300zx, crossed on-coming traffic, and hit him head on. Robby died on impact, they say. The car was (of course) totaled. :weep: Here's the car, pre-accident.... RIP Robert.

Umm 300c Srt-8's were originally goin for $70k+.....

Chrysler has unleashed a high performance Street and Racing Technology (SRT) version of its highly successful 300C, boasting 317 kW and a 0-100 km/h time in the mid-five-second range. Priced at $71,990, the Chrysler 300C SRT8 is the first SRT vehicle to be powered by a 6.1-litre HEMI® V8, which offers 25 per cent more power than the 5.7-litre HEMI. With 20-inch alloy wheels, performance tuned suspension and Brembo brakes the 300C SRT-8 is engineered for incredible acceleration and stopping power.

So that still puts us at a winning price to performance ratio but not by as much as you think(originally)....our cars depreciated in record time

Trust me....back in late 04/early 05 i dreamed about having the Srt-8 but then i saw the pricetag......HOLY SHIT!!! In my dreams.....and now look :yahoo:

    hehe

I got my fully loaded '06 in October '06 including my wood paneling and my billit grill for $41k.

6 300 SRT's sitting on the lot in October, and the guy tried to hit me with a $10k over sticker because they're "in high demand" ... I educated him about the principles of supply and demand and that having 6 '06 models on the lot in october doesn't equal a $10k over sticker, it equals $10k under plus upgrades :dancing: :pirate:

    yeah

I got the balx.org domain registered, I put up a filler page. I hit a CRAZY week at work so I haven't done much that touch it to put a filler page up. This week tho I'll start hiring fluffer girls to make it a happy place. :) I also emailed the company that is domain sitting balx.com, waiting for their reply.

Time to organize a Bay Area meet

Bollocks! Or is it BALX? The answer is moving at 165mph, better catch up to it!
