Nitrous + Meth

I know its common for lxers to run a 100shot without any issues on stock blocks. How big of a shot can we go with a meth/water setup, for reduced detonation and higher oct? 150+shot?

I got my zex kit sitting on the shelf and meth/water kit will be here tomorrow.

 

Jmatt ran 275 shot on a stock bottom end with no meth...its all about the tune bro!

 

yup, all about the tune. there are countless folks out there running nx on a stock motor...no issues.

 

I run a 200 shot, with good tune, and race gas at the track.

Have water/meth on the Stang I race. Runs 9.4s@142. Makes a nice differnce.
Coosl the "blown" intake charge, and raises the octane nicely, we still use race gas in this car also.

 

dumb question: If i got a nitrous tune would it be track only or can i still run my car as a daily driver without swapping tunes?

 

You can but it will run really rich it's easier enough with the Predator to swap out tunes
