In other words be prepared to see you running after me with your pink singlet with the ass end of it cutout and your Elton John glasses.
No need for LOL! Its true! I'm just the comic relief around here. Thanks for the info. That sounds pretty damned cool.
Sounds like jason might have snuck behind the little woman and got a credit card without permission...
In other words poor Jason is going to sell the Charger, BUT the kid comes before anything. I've just learned to hide the CC.:tooth:
True, but remember the guys who got Predators without a wideband, relied on the data, and blew their motors up from going too lean without even using nitrous? I'd hate to see someone be too lean without knowing it, and then screw up a 100 shot, going even more lean........ Not only is it worth it's weight in gold for insurance alone, it also lets you tune for AFR on your own, helping maximize your vehicle, and then gives you security as you start tuning your nitrous system beyond the basic setup. We all know the intention of using a 75hp shot lasts about once, then you hit the 100 shot a couple of times befor you say "hmmm....wonder what a 125 shot would do...." Before you know it, you're throwin' down 275 shots up high and hanging on for dear life (and looking for tranny upgrades) LMAO!! Eventually....:towel:
Well that I agree on.But if he leaves it alone and sticks to the basics for now.he doesnt have to spend that extra coin.It sounds like he is on a budget. But i think we agree as long as someone sticks to the basics IE follow the jet guides that come with the kits he would be fine..Obviously anything beyond the guidelines requires some knowledge and skill...Ummm Now that i think about MOMO get the damn wideband:rofl:
IMO: Once you bolt on some drag radials. Its the grip, not necessarily the power that'll get ya. Drag radials on a stock SRT8 can break half shafts.
Yeah, so long as you don't have drag tires on... from what I've gathered, you need your wheels to spin a bit at WOT and begin to move a little... otherwise the 'shock' of instant grip (from drag tires) is what snaps the shaft. Such is the only downside to 420 lbft + of torque.
jason - heed the advice of scott and matt on this one....... i have never met matt personally, but i can vouch for scott when it comes to knowing his shit with nitrous systems..... as for matt, seeing as he is THE fastest lx in the country, a lot due to nitrous, i would pay him close attention as well!!! if you are really serious, and truly think you will play it "mellow" with the nitrous, the zex kits are right in your ballpark for needs. of course this is coming from a guy who has never run nitrous, but i listen to scott a lot!!! hahahahaha
Roger that! I do listen at times. This coming from the guy who started 2 suspension threads asking the same damned question.
