Dammmm!!!! looks good!!! the pics on grass are awesome grass is the way to go!!! if theres any around you, you could also try photos on dirt it will make the black car stand out. a black car it tends to blend in with the pavement but still looks great :thumb:
New pics... Ok...all done...up close, I think 2 came out perfect, the first one came out, ah, kinda crappy, one of them for some reason looked like it was just cracking as soon as I sprayed it...but, I cleared coated them a few times. Took a hairdryer to speed up the drying since I needed to wash the car too. What I actually wanted to do was a black lip & gold spokes thing, it did look pretty bad ass, but messed up on the gold on black thing when I taped it...so, all gold the went. I think after these have to time to dry/cure...I'll do the black lip (it'll be easier cause all I have to do is tape up the spokes). Lmk what you think... OBVIOUSLY BEFORE & NOW... ^^^ Had to throw that in :thumb2:
besides the silver not really flowing with the car & they were curb rashed too. But I wanted something that actually went with the car. I was thinking red lip/black spokes...but I like the way gold/bronze looks. I tried doing a black lip/gold spokes (which I really wanted), but messed up , & figured I'll just go all gold. Eventually I'll try to make them darker...but I think for now it's flows with the car
Looks good man! When I painted my rims it was a lot of fun. I had an extra set so I REALLY took my time since I didn't need them anytime soon. Yours look like they came out REALLY good!
^^^ thanks...two didn't come out to good, but it's cool. Will be investing in better, lighter rims down the road
Juan great choice on the rim color. Bronze goes/flows with your car. Looks A LOT better then the silver. Definately clean!
hey juan..........next time we meet up, remind me the day before to pack my cordless impact gun, sockets and a floor jack............
