I bought a Dodge Magnum with a V6 over 5 years ago and had been happy with it the entire time. Key word HAD. Upgraded the looks enough to win countless 1st place trophies, best interiors and best of show. I made the mistake of riding in a friends SRT. Well the hunt was on. With the help of friends from Custom Magnums, LXF and a few other places I finally made up my mind what I wanted exactly.

I was almost swayed by a Road and Track package but I stayed diligent and found JUST what I wanted, only problem was that it was half the country away in VA. Talked to a friend who happened to live within 5 miles of the car, with his inspection done I struck a deal, hopped 2 jets and flew into Washington. Picked the new car up late that evening, visited for a bit then shot down to NC to spend a sleepless night with good friends. We talked until early in the morning before I sacked out for a few hours. Pretty well known peeps, NOTPAID4, but was totally worth the lack of sleep for the great company.

Drove a good spell towards home before hitting a nasty snow storm near Nashville with white out conditions. Stopped for the night then at first light with coffee in hand I was on my way home.

I've haven't had it 2 months yet and the work has already begun. I've swapped over much of the BT items from the SE (which is almost all stock again, or at least as far as it will go). Flowmaster is taking care of the Muscle Car sounds with a pair of 40s. Diablo Sport is now in control of the motor and Z Automotive is controlling the shifts.

It is a 2006 Magnum SRT in Inferno with every option except rear seat VES though I upped the factory staggered fitment to 275/40 in the rear. I miss my old one, which will soon be for sale as a stock vehicle, but the SRT is helping me not feel so sad.

And a shot of the old and new the day I got home.

Oh and a shot from the most amazing drive way I have ever seen... Was interesting to see 9 LX (4 SRTs) all together like that.

Thanks everyone, yes, the old one had a 300C clip and Chally 18s when I started stripping it down to return it to stock to sell.
At the peak it had Daytona seats, velvet interior, air brushed door jams. BT and 3G underhood, Bully intake and flowmaster exhaust, DDM 6k HIDs in factory C head lights. Eibach prokit springs and Daytona struts. 120 db stereo with Kicker speakers and Punch HX2 subs. 20 inch chrome clads, chrome 300 door handles and shaved molding and wiper.
Only problem was that it was a 2.7 V6 and I rode in an SRT. It was game over then, I had to have one. So now the V6 is being stripped to sell and some has been put on the SRT, rest is being sold or has been already.

Yes, we are far to the North of the effected area. We are very fortunate that all of our friends and family are safe though they have lost their share of property. Thanks for the welcome and the warm thoughts.
