Hey everyone my navigation says it cant read the disc anymore, but there is no scratches in the disc, perfectly clean. any ideas
I get that every now and then...esp when I try to actually setup a course or whatever you call it. I have to power down the nav unit and after one or two times it will work.
My brother had that trouble and he put it in some kind of DVD cleaner...cant remember exactly....worked perfectly afterwards..
not sure if it is the disc or the unit. i sprayed the disc area with a canned air. and cleaned the disc with cd cleaner from work. still have the naviagation saying it cant read the disc.
Is your basic 36 month/36,000 mile warranty still in effect or do you have extended warranty?..if so, take to your dealer and let them fix..
i have my extended warranty left. hopefully they dont try to void my warranty cause of the aftermarket work done:whistle:
