My weekend started off great. Friday I picked up my son for my weekend with him and took him to his cousins baseball game they are only 1 day apart in age and both of their birthdays are this week, my sons this Friday 3/11/2008 and Treys is Thursday. We get to the ball field and park, my son gets out of the Jeep and starts to yell DAAAAD LOOOOOK!! He's holding a $100.00 bill in his hand with a big grin on his face:smart:. I told him we need to take it to the announcer and allow whoever that might of lost it to have a chance to claim it so he agrees (kid is smart beyond words and values family more than money). The person that runs the field tells my son that at the end of the game if no one claims it it's his and by the end of the game no one does so it's all his SCORE!!!! We leave the ball field with his cousin with us to spend the night and I take them to Peter Piper Pizza and I order the 29.99 deal, large pizza, 4 drinks and 30 tokens for games. We get our order and tokens and sit down and I begin to divide up the tokens and start to realize there is ALOT more tokens there than 30 pull out my receipt and she only charged me for 30 but we got 90 so I look at my son and ask him what would be the right thing to do so he takes my receipt and goes up to the counter and tells the lady what has happened she walks over to the table with him and honestly I think she is about to cry and tells me whatever it is I am doing keep it up and the manager says the extra 60 tokens are on the house:yes: SCORE 2 for my kid. We get home late and I go to check the mail and there is a letter from my accountant and I'm nervous casue I know it's about my tax return, get in and open the letter and OMG I'm getting back $10,000 as buying the Cayenne for business purposes really paid off:rockon: SCORE 1 for Dad then I open another letter from Extraco banks the did the first loan on the house and after refinancing it just a few months ago I guess they made in error in the payoff and CHA-CHING again a nice check for $4,350 SCORE 2 for Dad. The boys stay up all night playing PS3 and Wii and about 1am they finally give out. We get up early the next morning and take them down to my new retaurant (silent part owner) for breakfast then out for some new shoes and Heelies (sp?) shoes with the wheel in the back??? then off to the batting cage, lunch at Chik-Fil-A surrounded by a ton of hot Mommas get back to the house around 12:30 wash and wax the Jeep while the boys swim and decide I'm gonna take them to Dallas to the Medievel Times theme restaurant (pretty badass show check it out online) but they are nagging me about the Jeep and my son who has never been to the track really wants to take his cousin to show off the Jeep, I check some email and YES Dave from B&G has sent me yet another updated tune, load it and go out for a run and its sittin good at 12.2 A/F WOT in all gears:yes: (last time out at the the track it was 11.0 A/F). So we make it to the track, boys sit up in the stand with Wendy (she hating it already) and first pass with new tune 12.85 new record for me I pull a little more fuel .5 to be exact and next run 12.81 with A/F at 12.7:rockon: and we leave it at that. Boys talked about that the whole 2 hour drive to Dallas and we had a BLAST at Medievel Times, 4 course meal, live Jousting and sword fights, hot women with cleavage larger than the Holland Tunnel, etc...Got up Sunday to homemade pancakes then took the boys fishing. What a Great Weekend

Wade, Glad to see the tune worked good and the A/F was where it needed to be,and the best thing is that the faimily got to see your personal best in the Jeep. David
Congrats Wade and kids, those are awesome times considering it was on the warmer/hot side all weekend.
Man I'm jealous. I hope I get some good money back:dribble:. Thats an awesome story though Wade. Any mods planned with all that extra dough?
See what happens when your honest?? Thats an awesome story that I actually read all the way through...with no pictures either :thumb: I can't wait till my son is old enough to enjoy (hopefully) that kind of stuff.
That is a weekend both buys will remember Wade and props to you for being a great Dad...it's sad that many kids can't experience this for themselves. Busy weekend but worth every moment!
Great story Wade!! I really love it when good things happen to good people that DESERVE it! Way to teach your kid good manners and morals. Like Curtis said, what goes around comes around. Oh, and congrats on the 12.81!!!!!!!!
