Ok, off the bat based upon common sense I see a few problems with this dumb ass idea. First, its called window tinting. You're going to have problems getting highly reflective or tinted glass past law enforcement. Second, jet black? Like matte black or just black in general? Who the hell makes cars that are matte finish paint from the factory? Last, really shiny cars may make for great heating/cooling whatever, but can you imagine the extra glare in the California sun? Speaking as someone sensitive to glare and susceptible to migraines, I can already tell you this will suck. The whole "reduced air conditioning in parked cars" thing just hits me wrong. Um, hello, get out of the car or turn the car off and roll the windows down or park in the shade. I'd be more worried about all the "carbon emissions" from running the engine to support the AC in a parked car on a hot day. They're just trying to legislate people's retarded ass behavior. Why don't these control freaks just implement some sort of air conditioner regulation so that you can only run the air conditioner during certain exterior temps or hell just do away with them. Then when all the old folks, small children and ankle biters start dying, they can revisit this. Stupid anyway you look at it. All for this stupid religion of "global warming."
