Tonight after a lovely dinner of primerib I went to the movie Sweeney Todd: the demon barber of Fleet Street. First impression was that I was completely set back by the fact it was a modern musical. The story line is morbid, the effects went from one extreme to another (realistic to surreal). The story line was very morbid yet humorous. 1)Dark 2)Bloody 3)Well developed plot 4) kept going to the very end Great movie! If you do not like musicals you will enjoy this one!
