I'm posting my story here, but if you have a similar silly anecdote, feel free to share.

I had to do a fasting blood sugar overnight so I could go get a mess of bloodwork done this morning for my new endocrinologist that I'm seeing next week. So at the time this event happened, I hadn't eaten in like 14 hours.

Anyway, got the blood drawn, etc etc and picked up breakfast at the McDonald's drive thru and headed towards home. I notice a Dublin patrol car up ahead and decide that between the orange juice sitting in my cupholders and the fact that I just want to get home and eat, that I'll give him a wide berth and play it cool amongst the assorted dust-covered econo-boxes making their daily commute.

Coming up on the light to turn into my apartment complex, I notice a bike cop, probably the same one who wrote me a ticket for my taillights, sitting just off the side of the road behind a fence. Ok, I'm coasting to a stop at this point, pulled into the left lane, almost home safe. Bike cop pulls out and pulls up behind the gold econo-box (think 90s Saturn two door crapbox) in the right lane.

So all I have to do is let off the gas and let the car kind of float on into my apartment complex and I'm home free right?

Well, the light turns green and out of the corner of my eye I see the Saturn just launch off the line, even lost traction a little bit. As I start rolling forward I hear the bike cop flip his siren/lights on and proceed to pull the Saturn over.

    Made my morning.

Funny, a saturn squeaking the tires at a green light. Funnier still, Saturn getting pulled over by the bike cop who was sitting behind him.

Now, back to schoolwork and resume-editing.

What kind of bikes does your finest ride?
Is it standard HD you can outpace them with a souped up moped, here they use slightly faster bikes...
Also, speeding for instance is criminal in Sweden witch means they have to proof who drove the vehicle, you don´t have to prove you didn´t...
    Great morning story though!

Sorry, motorcycle cop. Want to say bimmer or honda. They're not loud but they are fast. Think CHiPs for all you non-Californians only local police instead of state.
