nice jason..... i am sure rick will thank you for your generosity when he gets home!!!! tam - that is why i have a 13 year old and a 3 year old!!!! my older son was a NIGHTMARE as a baby!!! his mother and i swore off kids as a result!!! not until his mother and i split when he was almost 4 did he mellow out and become decent!!! several times i wanted to drive into a bridge on my way home while listening to him screaming in the car seat and my ex screaming in the other ear!!!! good thing now, he is awesome!!! he is my car buddy and goes everywhere with me!!! my three year old is just the opposite as a little one. he is PERFECT!!! i take him everywhere as well!!! i just see how clever the young one is and fear that he will turn into a nightmare as an older child!!! lol
I vouch for Chris....loaded rims into his car one hot Florida afternoon in a restaurant parking lot and was shooting the shit for 30+ minutes...the three year old sat there the whole time and was perfect.....took me the first 20 minutes to realize that there was even anybody in his car!!
I've been here in Bangkok for a couple days and have been working pretty hard. The mass transit here is really nice and clean (spotless). I think about the urine smells and garbage associated with the San Diego Trolley system and the New York subway system and it is pretty sad that "we" can't be half as clean as a 2nd world country. The guys I'm with are amazed at the politeness of the people here. I'm "always" greeted with a smile and a hands together slight bow. We strolled through "Soy Cowboy" (Cowboy Street) which is a bar district here and had a couple Mekong Cokes. We went into "The Doll House" where the go go girls do the "Thai Shuffle" unenthusiastically up on stage. I'm taking plenty of pictures so I'll be sure to post them when I get back!
Yeah, I'm already thinking this. Lord! I know I'm lucky with Marc, as I'm high maintenance with a large dose of fly off the handle. Well, its amazing Mom wanted children after me. I was completely allergic to milk, had six month cholic/colic, and started teething early, plus apparently I sounded just like Maddy does now with the ear-splitting, bladder-shrinking, brain-scrambling screams. I thank Mom regularly for not drowning me in the tub. Luckily Maddy's mellowing out. We've found a formula that seems to work for her, finally have a crib so we can all get some sleep and now its just a matter of keeping her contained since she's getting pretty damned quick with the belly crawl. But yeah, after all the trauma of her being in NICU for five weeks, and then the bitchiness since she's been home, it'll be a while before we discuss another one.
Pssht...2nd? Try 3rd. I had to take BART into Oakland for jury duty in January one year. So I'm out on the platform, freezing my ass off and start to duck behind a column to get out of the wind. Good thing I looked down cause someone left a huge steaming dump right there on the platform, looking out at the morning commuters on 580. It was near freezing out, but it smelled so strong I nearly threw up out of reflex.
