At 4250, thats a gain of
    120.15rwhp/148.46rwtq or
146hp/181tq at the crank. I would say this is definitely an increase in midrange which was our goal all along. Makes it allot easier to do burnouts on the interstate at 55mph. lol. Hope you enjoy the car Jon.

Thanks for posting that up Andy. The torque is absolutely amazing...just pulls forever and ever! I wasn't kidding about the highway burnout...I punched it at 50 or 55 and the wheels spun and kept spinning...I would have been sideways if I didn't let off. WOW

I drove 21 hours straight, 1488 miles home. I hit a deer and kept from causing a NASCAR type pileup in heavy traffic. I got stopped three times. Fun trip.

Check this cold air intake out:

The little bastard couldn't keep himself to just destroying the front...he had to kick the driver's side rear door and dent that too on his way to death.

I'll post up a full write-up tomorrow about all my thoughts and observations. I have some clips of the dyno runs...hopefully the sound came through on my cell...

Lol. Oh I am not too pleased but I look at it this way...I was able to hold things up with my old belt and some cop flex cuffs (I have no idea why I threw it in the trunk and threw everything else away at PPP) and continue my journey...no damaged radiator or tire or front end parts or anything like that...check out the power steering reservoir...it was dangling down in front of my tire as I figured out how to get over to the right at 80 mph. I had no desire to hang out in Peoria, IL which is right where I was.

There were a couple of hour long stints where I just did 130 and didn't care if I got stopped...lol...no heat to be seen in Nebraska...!

Sorry to hear about the mishap with the deer Jon, but the 426 install sounds like it was still worth the trip. Get that beast to the bodyshop and get it straightened out and then have some fun with it. I'm curious...what did the 426 and install cost you? If you don't want to reply in this thead then can you PM me.

426 install is 19.4 hours @ $85 per hour plus oil and coolant. We knew his air/fuel was going to get rich by the time he got home since he lives at 7500 feet, but check this out. He left with an air/fuel of about 12.5 and now has an air/fuel of about 10.5. lol. Time to pull some fuel and detune the car for elevation.
