Well, spending the last week of the summervacation in the south of Sweden, spent the first night in a very special hostile and the following day watching Swedens top racing, Swedish Touring Car Championship and Pro Superbike where a friend is runner up in the series. Going from the racetrack we had a four hour drive at decent pace to get to our destination. Locking it into gears like 4th or 5th makes a huge improvement on fuelconsumption and also makes the ride more comfortable for the family. Anyway, going down a singel lane I cought up with a trailer with some crapboxes behind, at the very end, and the first one i got up behind was a Corvette C4 late model (-94 - -96) bright yellow with black le mans stripes. He moved over at once and I put her in drive and started overtaking, loooong uphill with absolutly NO traffic ahead. As I passed him I saw that he had some guages on the A-pillar and heard him downchanging and haninging on to my tailpipes, well, here we go! Told Ulrica to hold on and let the hammer down, doing about 65 she hit third and squatted, flying up the hill, I felt like Burt Reynolds in "Smokey and the Bandit" when Buford T Justice is behind him and saying "Byebye baby..." Slowly pulling away we hit 140 long before the crest I just lifted of and flashed my hazards to tell him it was over, he never even cought up!lol Radadadada, I just love the SRT8 with the blower, it was decent before, but now its spectacular!!! I HAVE to take her down to Germany and do a WOT run to see where she pegs out, soon! Fredrik:dancing:
hehehehehe Yup, the blower makes an animal into a monster. I don't think the Vette wanted to try and catch up as he didn't want you and the family loaded 4 door to see his shame... muahahahaa
