is this worth it?

    The ones breaking are 6 speeds that try to leave at 4000 RPM or higher....this is a definite UPGRADE for 05-08 SRT's....Worth it? Up to you to decide, but it is a good deal for the package. I believe you will also need a new drive shaft, and flange bolts...going from a 4 bolt flange to a 3 bolt flange...Total swap out should run about 2k in parts, plus install.
    I like the new wave trac LSD with the shaft upgrade....around $1600.00 total for parts...and a better LSD IMO.

    Chris/Fargo on another forum smoked his LSD and has an R/T So dod AJ/Hemi tuner.Neither are 6 spd cars.IMO Find a set of DSS axles some have been trying to sell as they are buying the new LSD units..My Dss axles have been flawless..Just my 0.2 Good luck..

    DSS axles cost more than 10x as much and people have broken them too. They also have had leaking boots.

    Like I said look for a set those guys have been dumping for the new LSDs.I have seen them go between 1k-1500.00 .You'll spend that much if someone breaks a set of LSDs.Not to mention I was under standing DSS corrected the problem,Lets not forget about the warranty either.You break the LSD all you get is an empty wallet..

    Good info... gonna try to look those posts up. Is there anything that doesn't break anymore? I'm reading now about new Camaro SS output shafts breaking.
