The GS ones cause the dogleg and throttle body spacer has been a proven loser. Save your money for something else.
I forget the numbers but it's something like the PCM starts pulling timing when the IAT goes over 90. I believe it may be a significant amount of timing. So some people have moved the location of the sensor more towards the filter for lower readings. I think some people moved it to the grill and somebody may have even put a resistor inline. I kind of think it's a bad idea although I don't have any evidence of that. The PCM assumes the sensor is something like exactly 4" from the throttle body. It takes IAT into account for a reason. I guess it's possible that reason is primarily emissions but I don't think so. By moving the sensor you're not lowering the actual IAT just the reading. (speaking of which, Cam has promised a true cold air intake to be announced soon?)
Im gonna bring this thread back for Big D here..... I ordered the BWoody Spacers on wed.... I just dyno'ed my car on Saturday....gonna get the spacers and put them in with the only difference in the car for the pull being the spacers.... I dyno'ed on Saturday at 382.5HP Will post my results so you can get a good idea on what a lesser car can do with the spacers haha :thumb:
