I just purchase a Greddy BOV and the AGP hardpipes and need some help with where the vaccum lines get hooked up to. I know the one line from the bov goes to the "T" and one off the throttle body but I can't figure out what line goes to the other end of the "T". Also what do I need to do with the red line from the stock coldside pipe? Thanks
if you have the nipple on the pipe (don't remember off hand if the agp's do) then plug it into there. if not then just cap it. i'm not really sure i'm clear as to what you're referring to wtih the "T" issues. the line goes from the bov to the throttle body line.....
These BOV's sound like the car is breaking to me. I don't really like the loud pops. So whats the big deal with them?
The AGP pipes don't have that nipple for the red line. I was told that you need a T spliter for the bov and throttle body and I wasn't sure what else need to be connected on the other end of the T spliter. I know to cap the pink line from the stock surge valve. The bov is a Greddy Type S.
Damn I thought you had the Greddy RS, I just installed mine and here is how I hooked it up. I heard you can cap the lower nipple on the S type and remove the red line. If so then your lines should like this diagram. I also hear that you should remove the big spring out of it. Are you just putting a cap on the stock surge valve or are you putting a block off plate on it? Let me know if you have any questions.
nice diagram.. i will probably be upgrading my WGA soon and getting hard pipes/BOV it seems that people have issues with upgraded WGA and boost though, so ill have to figure that out before i upgrade. although, i will probably be getting a recirc. kit for the BOV, cuz the mopar plate is already too loud for me.
