i want to remove all the emblems on my magnum,i like the clean look. does the ram emblem come off the rear hatch? i assume it is glued on like the others? i have a heat gun,so it should be easy.

Yes. All the badges are glued on except for the ram on the grill cross hair. It sits in an indent and has a single bolt with a nut you can get to from behind it (in order to install the BT front badge of your choice :D -- the black SRT looks good with the murdered look). The side moldings are glued on as well. The problem trim is the chrome strips on the corners. They have (2? maybe 3) bolts/fasteners each that go through the bumper and they also sit in an indent.

well dave..... you pretty much summed that up!!!

one thing to look out for with the glued on pieces.... if they have been on for awhile, especially in sun, the paint may look different underneath the moldings......

I hear fishing line is very helpful in removing taped/glued on emblems...I've personally never done it, but when a buddy of mine asked me about removing the badging on his speed3, I mentioned the fishing line to him, 'cause I know he fishes...he called me up thanking me profusely and offering me booze and babes(j/k  ) 'cause it made it "sooooo easy."

^^^^^^^^^ will make it easy to get the emblem off, and if done correctly it leaves very little residue. When using the fishing line to "saw" through the 3M tape behind it, do your best to stay as close to the paint as possible. Try and remove the tape with the emblem. Once emblem is removed, use 3M adhesive remover to finish the job. WD-40 also works, apply, let soak, reapply, let soak reapply, let soak reapply, let soak overnight if possible...remove with finger nail carefully...Main thing is to NOT GET IN A HURRY.

I didn't have any problem rolling the adhesive off with my thumb pad. Of course it ripped all the skin loose on my thumb pad wich then burned for a week, but you don't feel it until the next day.

all i really want to take off is all the stuff on the rear, the srt/hemi badges on the side, and the grill emblem. i removed this stuff off my cummins truck with a heat gun and they came right off. i just wanted to make sure there were not any studs in the damn things! i am going to take the car to get detailed after i do it since i just bought it and want it spit shined before we go on vacation. as far as i know the car has always been garaged,so i think it should be ok. thanks guys!

Spit shined! I am going to guess that you are a marine? If so devil dog you will have no problems taking all you want off the car but the ram in the front. FYI I would leave the srt on the rear deck!
