I'm thinking about doing something like this along with my flat black rally stripes. This is just a very quick photoshop rendering. I welcome all opinions.

    hmmmm

I agree that the red used for the example is way too bright, but I am also trying to visualize a dark red, but am not feeling that either.

Maybe a silver or grey to compliment the flat black?

I'm not feeling any of it myself. I've always believed less in more.

flat black would be cool, but with his red lighting, blood red would be a nice contrasting color.

I've already got the flat black and sometimes it feels like it very hard to notice. I wanted to see if maybe the red might help bring it out or anyone know of a better color choice?

IMO, the red is hiding the flat black even more, which is why I suggested a silver or dark grey.

I'd suggest orange...but I'm biased to orange.

Go to the auto parts store, and buy a small ting of that red pin stripping (or silver) they sell for like $5. Then do a small section, or the whole car, and see what you think. IMO, for $5 seeing what it would look like IRL instead of photochopped would be much better for making up your mind.

The red might be a little rich in color... maybe the silver would make 'em stand out even more!!! Can you photoshop silver???

I like it, I think you could play around with the tint but I like the idea and where your going with it.
