yeah i have to come to terms with that now... I got a rental car for the time my truck is in the shop... not like they gave me some POS Toyota or something... I got a 2009 Ram 1500 Quad Cab SLT w/ the 4.7 in it... now why do I admit to being spoiled I think it sucks it doesnt have my Nav system lol...and the motor is a DOG HOLY SHIT that thing sucks.... now for the record...the last time I drove anything other than a 5.7 HEMI or my Car (on a daily basis) was my old 5.0 F150...and that wasnt exactly stock lol.... i understand i have an unrealistic expectation of the smaller V8 but come on now... at least the gase mileage is better lol...and it has sat radio
I hear the same thing from Ron! Everytime he travels, driving down the freeway, it's usually the same... "this car they gave me is a piece of crap!"... :grin:
Me too. I had a terrible front wheel drive V6 Chevy Impala when I was on vacation a few weeks ago. I think I personally killed the transmission in that thing. It wouldn't kick down and it kept gear hunting, so for the whole week I just shifted it using the console stick, sort of like an auto stick.
We're flying to Boise tonight. We rent from Dollar. We usually get a 2.7 Charger or a 4 cyl. Avenger. I've gotten 2 tickets in 2.7 Chargers, none in the SRT8.
