Just picked up an issue of Muscle Car Milestones from the gas station, Had an article on the new Challenger. After reading the article........ :mouth: Mr Norm is back and developing an estimated 900 hp supercharged (Kenne Bell 2.8 liter twin screw super charger) The 900 hp will be on 105 octane race gas and 20 lbs of boost. On pump gas it will be 637 hp & 650 lb./tq on 8 lbs of boost. According to the article THis Challenger is supposed to be debuted at the 2008 Sema show.
Until the car is actually built and tuned there is no telling exactly how much it'll put out, but until then I agree
I need to pick this issue up. Makes for excellent bathroom reading....the only time I have peace now lol.
You're lucky....every time I sit down to take a dump I have a 2 year old that HAS to be in there with me!! lol
Been there done that....just wait, soon enough their sense of smell sharpens and they will leave quick......mine did...LOL
Has a silver Challenger on the cover, facing forward. All you see of it is the perfect angle for the banner at the top on the forum.
Now if Keene Bell got involved it may end up with dual turbos and be close to 900 HP. Kenne knows turbos.
Ask...you never know. Except Keene is kind of a special in mustangs. Gale Banks is who I would like to make my turbo system. He designs turbo systems mostly for trucks and still does some cars but now he is spending most of his time making some powerful diesels. This guy loves turbo talk. Have you ever been to his site?...you will learn a lot in his tech areas, even if you already thought you knew turbos. http://bankspower.com/twin-turbo-products.cfm
