Twice today when I went to start the jeep it acted like it never wanted to start,so I turned the key off and the second try it would fire right up...Any one else been having the same issue...I do have NGK V plugs and I did just reinstall my B&G tune but all I did was reinstall it to original settings.I pulled 1degree of timing the other day and I decided to put it back...Thanks for any info..

Never had trouble on initial starts. I've got B&G NOS running now and have pulled timing but have not gone back to the Stage 2 tune since intalling the NOS tune. I'll switch back after racing Tue night and see if I have any problems.

Never had that problem either? Make sure your fuel connection isnt leaking at all around the shrader valve or it will bleed your fuel pressure off causing longer starting times.

when you pulled timing you did it on both tables right if you move it in one RPM range you have to to it in the same RPM range on the 2nd table

Probably not what the problem is, but for the hell of it, do you always let the fuel pump prime up before you attempt to activate the starter?

Since I got the wideband I tend to wait for the o2 to heat up...I believe both times it did it.. I never waited for the o2 to heat up...I am sure it is nothing...Kinda got me thinkin maybe plugs but they are gapped for my NOS...I have brand new Irridiums setting maybe I should put them in...Just dont feel like taking an hour or so to put them in..

Wade, the stock plugs are actually just regular NGK plugs that have a V- groove in the tip. They are $2.50 a piece through sparkplugs.com whereas the NGK Iridium IX plugs are like $7.50 a piece. They are totally different.

Yeah the stockers are basically what you put in your lawn mower....unless they changed something in 08

Hey guys...can you be more specific here for the novice tuner. In the Diablo options I saw only one section that let me pull timing and I pulled a degree in all the RPM ranges but don't remember seeing an option for different "maps".

Apologies for hijacking but don't want to screw something up. Thanks.

There are 2 tables if you pull lets say 1 degree of timing in the 4.2-4.8k RPM range you must pull 1 degree in the 2nd table in the same RPM range or you will have major issues if you did not do this DO NOT DRIVE IT AND GO BACK AND PUT IT BACK

What version are you using? I think maybe that changed some time after 8r17? Not sure. I'm using 8r20 and there are two places for each rpm range. Same menu. When you go into WOT Spark it puts up a warning that you have to change in both places (I assume there must be some case where you might want them different or they would just do it automatically? -- Maybe that's what they did in previous versions?)

Thanks for the help guys. I believe I actually did both places without even knowing I needed to do it or remembering I did. Lucky for a change. I'm on r19 I believe.

Stock should be gapped at 50, I put mine at 38 and I believe if you are running nitrous 32-34 is a good number
