Okay, so Halloween's in less than two weeks and its my favorite holiday and mine and Marc's anniversary. So, figured I'd start a Halloween pic thread.

I'll see about some themed pics to put up in the next few days, but in the mean time, feel free to put up your pics. It'd be cool if it included your SRT/vehicle of choice, but kids, puppies and mostly clad significant others are cool too. :)

For now here's some photos of costumes from the past couple of years.

Here's me having TOO good of a time in SD last year. I'm an inmate and our DD is the giant beer bottle, ironic, eh? lol

Here's one where I'm still standing. I love that stupid costume. It was cheap, it's easy, I can wear normal clothes underneath it and they stay clean (walking hoime the next morning in costume sucks!).

Yeah, my dad got a paratrooper jumpsuit/coveralls from the local Army surplus for working in the garage circa 1975. it's an easy costume for me in a pinch. No photos, but I'm going to get Marc to take pics when I try on the costumes I have so I can make up my mind. I'll post the ones that don't suck on this thread.

Hahaha...I think I have a digital pic of me in my favorite costume. It was quite a few years back though, I'll have to check. If I do, I'll post it.

I was thinking of finding some way of decorating Scarlett with painter's tape, or maybe I'll just let her go as herself. Don't forget to post up your pics!

Pics from after tonight's pumpkin carving. My camera is still set up for night-time photos from my crime scene photography class, which makes for some spooky photos of an active toddler. Notice the headless and ghost pics. :)

Well, the camera is set to auto for most all lighting settings. So for pitch black or next to zero ambient light, it allows for a two or three second exposure as opposed to a split second exposure to let in as much light as possible. To allow for the flash, it waits a couple seconds after the flash to snap the photo so it isn't just white and black. The last time I took a night photo, I was trying to capture a knife under a bed in a pitch black room to show that I understood how to take that sort of photo. I thought I set all my camera settings back to "dumb photographer" but apparently some of the more advanced lighting tricks are still in play. So still objects are well-lit and apparently, Madeline is a ghost...
