I called goodyear about the tire issue and talked to 3 different people about it. All 3 said it wasnt a tire or aligment issue its a tire wear problem because we cant rotate the tires. They said they have told chrysler about the problem because there the ones that picket the tires to run on there srt-8 jeep. At 20,000 miles mine were wearing a grove on the inside eges and were just starting to seperate so goodyear prorated them because i was down to 8/32 and they gave me 186.00 back on ea tire. At 9/32 i would of got them free. So i went to my aligment shop and they ck everything and saw the tires and decided to change the aligment to make the tires wear better because we cant rotate them. The stock aligment is 1/8 toe in and minus 3/4 camber on both tires. They changed them to 1/8 toe in and minus 1/4 camber R.S. (PASSENGER SIDE ) and minus 3/16 camber L.S. ( DRIVERS SIDE ). Ill keep you posted on how the new aligment is doing. I did also get the free tire replacment for 33.00 on ea tire just in case the wear thing happens again or the the new aligment isnt wearing proper. The new tires cost me 93 each after the prorate. They also said the corvetts and other cars that have diff size tire on front and back are having the same problems because you cant rotate them. Neither goodyear or chrysler want to take the blame.
