While the instructions from Stack are awesome, I decided to take some snap shots as well. Helps those who still need Hooked on Phonics.. lol

I could only get the front installed. While starting to do the rear sway, one of the Sub-Frame bolts started to strip, so I decided to wait until I can get over to Hellion and let Dave use the air tools (and get a tune hehe).

So, here are the front Chubby Sways by Stack. Thanks again, Ryan.

    Now the How to

First you will need to jack up the front end (both sides) and place on Jack Stands. You don't want any load on the suspension.

    Remove tires. Duh... haha

Now you will want to disconnect the OEM Sways from the End Links.

Then remove the heat shield to expose the sway mounting bolts. Keep in mind, you do NOT need to remove the shield completely. Take the screw out that you can see, then just bend the shield out of the way. Not to worry, the shield is flexible and forgiving and will bend back into place when reassembling.

Next you will remove the main sway bolts. Again, you don't really need to remove the entire mounting cover. Remove the bottom bolt, then loosen the upper bolt about half way, then you can swing the mounting cover out of the way. Sorry, no picture of this. The one I took was extremely blurry and pretty much worthless. See pic above for the heat shield to get an idea.

Once you complete the above on both sides, you are ready to install the sway.

***Note*** Be sure and lube the new bushings with the supplied lubrication. Don't be shy either, there is enough supplied to give both bushings a nice coating.

I did this by myself. Would have been much easier to have an extra set of hands, but since I did this last minute, and late, I used a spare jack stand to hold one side of the sway in place while I buttoned up the opposite side. Worked like a charm.

Reverse the above steps for final installation.

    And the final install...

I must say, I took a drive this evening, and only having the front sway in, I could feel the firmness. WOW! And I am only on the center setting. After I get the rears in, I will place the setting to the front setting for a nice FIRM ride.

I highly recommend these sways, you will NOT be disappointed.

Ron, you look to have all your other bushings stock? I take it you didn't see any issues with the stock stuff so far? I have a clunk up front on bumpy streets...I thought the sway links were one of the high wear areas but yours look good.

The OEM sway bushings are surprisingly in great shape. Hell, I was looking at all bushings while I was under the car and I did not see any that were having bad wear... Good, one less thing I need to worry about right now. lol
