Florida Emissions Testing? (Answered) Does Florida have a state mandated emissions testing program for vehicle inspections? If so, does anyone know if new vehicles have a 5 year grace period or are they tested every year? Thank you for your insight.
I wouldn't recomend Tampa if you do consider moving here. The people down here do NOT know how to drive at all!
Thank you all, you have just MADE MY DAY! We are working on a big project and I do not want the new owner to have a vehicle that would fail it very first emissions test if they were required. We do not have emissions testing here in South Carolina either.

Try every other here in Nazi-land ... er, I mean California ... hehe That's not limited to Tampa, lol! Eh, win it all you want, we got rid of you and that's all that matters, lol!! BTW all, prolly not gonna be too many more years before every state starts emission testing every year. The way all this global warming stuff is going I wouldn't be surprised to see some type of standardized Federal Smog Checks system go into effect sometime down the road. Funny too, they're squeezing an already dry sponge even dryer, cars are already super clean and only produce 20% of the worlds CO2 emissions anyway. Why they don't work on the other 80% is beyond me, stupid greenies.
