How many more of these dumbass "become a fan" pages are there going to be? lol Our SRT/Connection one is one with merit...its a club/forum...but jesus christ these are getting dumb.... and yes i know WHERE this came from...but its still ridiculous and dumb lol
hahahahaha Every time someone clicks on those types of adds, Facebook gets paid. Facebook and Myspace (or any similar internet offering) get's paid by their advertising, so the more BS that is out there, the more money the owners get.
I actually went on myspace today to compare and its amusing how they are basically the same thing with a different background hahahaha
Thats a topic right up my loser ex girlfriends alley, going on 8 months and loser still doesnt get it. Get lost horsehead.
At the ripe age of 33, I can honestly and thankfully say I've never been a part of "GaySpace" or "AssBook." Hate em, can't stand em, and all they do is inspire drama and BS everybody wastes their time looking at. Sorry if I've offended anyone that's a part of these, hell, my wife is. I just absolutely cannot understand, nor wish to understand why anyone over the age of 16 would benefit from either of these sites. And trust me, I've told this to my own wife over and over again, so I don't mean to offend anyone with that statement..........
Eh, its like passing notes in school, can chit chat with friends or comment on something you see or experience as it happens instead of scratching your head trying to remember later. Plus I almost never leave the house or see any of my buddies in person any more thanks to the ball and stroller, I mean baby. As for the drama, yeah, way over-rated, but I have a bunch of relatively mellow fun friends, so its cool.
.... Not sure I want to get into a "dig a hole" exchange with you, Dave. Yes, you are mellow and I'm still here and I spend as much time on here as over on facebook. I just spare y'all the boring real-time baby minutiae of my day. :maddy: Like how she got in a tussle with Marc this afternoon and put Marc on the defensive, but still ended up popping herself in the lip and bleeding a bit. See? Boooring... :dumb:
I still never would have pictured you and penguinclub, Dave. Maddy's into Ni Hao, Kai-Lan for the moment. Granted, the Mandarin may be slowing her English speaking... :hypno:
Facebook was actually useful when I was in college and only SOME colleges were signed up. Then you needed a vaild school email address in order to get registered. Now its just myspace. Its an easy way to keep up with people who you don't talk to much. For example my best friend from way back in teh day in HS moved to Sweeden cause his father was in the UN. I get to speak to him more often now cause hes on Facebook. That kinda stuff... Its basically a place where you can post random stuff, talk to people, see whats goin on.... wait.... where else do we do that :hmm: OH yeah thats pretty much what we do here LOL
Homophobic? I find FaceBook to be convenient for reviewing the torrent of pictures of my six grandchildren...then I can copy and retain what I want... It is also interesting to keep up with some of my students, these social networks is where many of them live. The issue becomes, how do you delete those students that you don't want to retain on the friends list? I have lots of students from the past that contact me via FaceBook and that is kind of rewarding and interesting... So, "homosexuals"??? Me thinks someone was saying more about themselves than they intended. But I could be wrong, I have never stayed in a Holiday Inn Express.
