i am kinda with stevo on this one...... i hacked out the suitcase and resos and put in a set of magnaflow muffs and thats it. very cool rumble at idle, and friggin nasty mean at wot. might be a bit much for some at wot, but i love it!!!! a small bit of drone, but nothing like the magnaflow cat back systems..... i love it and the cost was less than half of just about all cat backs..... i think the reason my club pooled the money together yesterday to get my car on the dyno was just to let the car show peeps hear the 6.1 roar!!!! hahahahaha friggin woke the place up and had tons of people coming over to see the next couple of pulls!!! hahahaha
yeah...the flowmaster super 44's have a lot of drone...but the more drone the better...i don't gotta listen to people talking in my car hahaha :rofl:
I got the Zoomers after hearing lots of different exhaust systems at M&Gs and made up my mind that way. This is how I recommend others choose which system they end up with. Just going on others opinions is not a safe bet. That being said, you asked for opinions so here goes... Honestly the Zoomers just sing for me compared to the others. They are wonderfully loud and rumbly in low gears and in chilly weather (like now), otherwise they have a nice background bass note, with the exception of a straighten your spine and make you giggle ROAR under WOT. :happy: :love: That being said, I do not have to yell over them when at speed and they do not overpower anything I might be playing on the stereo. Hopefully my kid will be used to the sound by the time I deliver. :baby: I guess it just depends on what exact sound you want and when you want to hear it when shopping for exhaust. :bigwink:
