I saw a white 300c yesterday with a really deep loud exhaust. I asked what kind of exhaust he had and he said that it was a magnaflow x-pipe, no muffler or resonators. Anyone ever done this? Does it sound like a good idea or no.

Bad idea. It might sound great outside the car but your head will explode from the drone inside the car. (did the guy seem a bit confused and disoriented?)

Kind of since he was an oriental driving an american car with loud exhaust. What muffler is recommended for our cars?

Mine is a true 3" exhaust with the Magnaflow X-Muffler. That is probably what the guy meant?

Get a Mopar/Corsa. Far and away the best. Can't go wrong. You'll never even wonder if you should have tried anything else. Only one that actually shows a few hp increase too. Absolutely no drone under any conditions.

2.75", designed by Corsa with the SRT engineers. It fits. It doesn't rust. Only minor downside is the resonator cans at the back are visible. With the "sport" model they put oval resonators back there that don't show so much but I don't like the note. Maybe if you did major engine work or a blower or headers you might want a 3" but with a basically stock setup I think you even lose a couple of hp.

Oh, don't forget to get your wideband bung(s) installed when you get your exhaust put on. You can just plug the bungs for the time being if you don't have a wideband.

LOL - so many exhaust choices. Basically, how loud do you want it? We can get together sometime if you want to hear my Corsa.
