Just ordered some Duralast Gold brake pads for front and rear of the 06 SRT8 Charger. Parts #DG1053 and #DG1149 . Has anyone tried these and or know that they are the correct replacement for the stockers. The clerk at A.Z. showed me the order screen and all the info was correct that these go on the SRT8 Charger. I went with these because at the dealership they asked over $600.00 for a total set of pads. Any info would help, and yes I saw the post about the Bendix, but need the pads quickly and went local.

I'm going with the EBC Yellows. Let us know how they do for you. Dust, grip, etc. Ya, the originals are crazy priced at the stealerships.

Will do...FWIW, I also am upgrading the 06 rotors to the newer slotted rotors, so maybe that'l show some improvement as well.

Sounds like most of us, due to the electronic breaking (especially with burnouts) are using up the rears before the front breaks. That's a first for any other car I've owned.

Yeah, it's usually the opposite, esp. with 60% of the weight to the front. I've only done **maybe** 10-12 burnouts in the Charger, it's mainly a DD.
