    DCR Input Shaft Info
The DCR Input Shafts have been successful . We have sold many and due to the amount sold we are able to finally drop the price a bit
    Pm us for details.

The DCR Input Shafts are not cryoed. "Been there done that" it just made them louder when they did break "BANG" . We have the fix for the shafts. The OE input shaft material is made out of the same material as in our OE automatic trans input shaft. Cryo makes them stronger to the point that they break easier due to their inability to flex and recover. We do processes that give the shaft stability during twisting and can handle loading over and over. This is a multi-process that we will dare not discuss due to its DCR exclusive . We have proven this on all of the internals of the gearboxes over the years.
This material is not that bad combined with our machining, retempering, and services. I can say that we have in the past tested several croyed units and it made them too tough to the point that during normal flexing as torque is applied they broke easier and sooner. Another reason cryo does not "fit in" to some applications! It is all to do with the proper temper (rockwell) and stress relieving the material so it can flex and recover .

Pm or call us for special end of year pricing.
