this evening i put a 3in downpipe on the cruiser Stock Cat and 2.5in catback downpipe before sound after Cruiser sounds so much more agressive now
it feels good but it'll feel better when a full 3 in goes on. stright pipe is always a good sound
awesome.. do you have a link or at least the seller you bought it from. i would like to get the same one to ensure same shipping service/part/experience. how hard is a DP install on an SRT4 since the turbo is on the back and all.
heres the seller http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/R-SP...ryZ33633QQihZ017QQitemZ270273099758QQtcZphoto there buy it now for $64 and bolt up perfectly the downpipes pretty stright foward its just the bolt on the top of the down pipe is a little hard to get to. the bottom 3 bolts are secured to the downpipe the top one is reversed you have to put a wrench on the backside and have someone help you turn it. if the bolt gives you no trouble you can swap it out in around 45min, mine gave me hell and took an 1.5hr and resorting to using an impact drill then its just attaching the pipe together. driving over to an exhaust shop and welding it so it dont come off.
ahh, good stuff.. it looks like it has the slip fit connection for the neon, so itll just be a direct replacement (hopefully) and no welding will be needed. 100$ shipped is a damn good price for a Stainless 3" downpipe.
the slip end is 2.25 and slied easy into a 2.5 but i wanted it not to slip off so when i took it to get welded i had them remove the 2.25 i was going for the direct replacement as seen in the pic of both downpipe and cat together but just didnt like the 2.25 pipe at the end.
was it an OD of 2.25"? if so, ill have to look at the OD of the stock slip-fit connection and see if it will be able to be clamped together..
I'm just following Cheryl...and making it harder for her to catch me.:bigwink: Oh yeah...Nevin I'm going to be putting the BOV on the Mrs cruiser this weekend. :thanks:again.
