Domestic Militarization.

I don't understand why they need the military at their DUI checkpoints.

 

I do not see it as an issue. Joint training is a good thing.

And for those who "Demand" to know where the checkpoints are, are spoiled lil babies.

It is a DUI checkpoint, these should NOT be announced of their whereabouts. Otherwise, what's the point? If potential Drunk drivers know the location, then they will choose a different route to kill the innocent.

Back to the MP's and CHP. I think it would be a GREAT training exercise for the MP's. It certainly would provide the knowledge a soldier can use to gain a civilian job in law enforcement.

It's not like they are calling the Infantry or Cavalry to conduct blockades. It is merely civilian and military law enforcement working hand in hand.

Unconstitutional? WTF? Be HAPPY we have an ALL Volunteer Military to protect our rights...

I don't see the problem...they should just be glad the MP are playing by cilivian laws, and the UCMJ.
