well here are the pics of my crash bar. its 1/8 angled steel and 1/8 boxed steel. fells pretty good, pretty much close to what the sock crashbar felt like. its alot better then the front end flexing. i had tried before with just the angled steel bar and still had flex and still didnt feel right. so after adding the boxed steel it felt good on the first turn i took which was getting on the freeway to head to work. well last thusday after being on the car for only 2 days it was time to head up the mountain and see how it fairs on winding roads. car handled great the only problem was i had brought the wife with me. i had already told her what i was gonna do prior to us getting in the car and going up but she still wanted to go. so with a limit on how fast i could go right off the bat i was already pissed but i still needed to see how it did in turns. i didnt go over 85 :erm::sorry: but the turns were fun. i was just starting to push harder when she starts yelling at me to slow down or let her out. the skittle had more left. it always has more left.:sorry: my wife is the biggest buzz kill ever!!! she doesnt appecrate great handling.
dahahaha, you knew it was over before you left the driveway right? "I'm going to test the handling" "I know, I still want to go" "You won't like it and I won't be able to test anything" "It won't be a problem, promise, it'll be just fine"... . . . "Slow down! you're driving like a maniac! you don't have to drive like that to test out your stupid shit on this stupid car. If you're going to drive like that then let me out and I'll walk home, but don't think about coming back" oh:
HOLY FREAKING CRAP!!! almost word for word!!! you do know my wife!!!:rofl::rofl: if you want her you can have her!!:whistle: Only difference is she was screaming on the 3rd vid to pull over now and let her out. i dont think she like the left foot brake slide over the dip before the "S" turns. and i was only pushing around 70% of what it could do. :chair:
It's the standard script. They're born with it. Wouldn't have helped but you could have aborted the whole test drive before leaving the driveway by having your helmets in the car. "Ok, fine. If you really have to come you can. But you have to wear wear a helmet." Then you would have never left the house but it would have saved some time and the aftermath wouldn't have lasted as long afterwards.
hahaha i could have put the helmets in the car but she would have said im not wearing my helmet and that i was an idiot for wearing mine on public roads. plus dont know why she was complaining she had a damm 4 point harness on the whole time. reminds me i need to go buy the strap that makes them a 5 point. i need to go back up with out the wife. being limited just killed it.
LOL What you need to do is take her and just scare the living shit out of her then she won't want to come anymore. What wga and bov are you running? I thought I could hear either your bov fluttering open or compressor surge in the first couple videos.
ive scared the crap out of her before on dirt in the mustang, ramp after ramp lol. but she knows im always in control and wont let the car get out from under me. im running the Turbo XS RFL bov set at 0. and an AGP WGA no BC. what you heard in some of those corners was what happends when you left foot brake, since you can constantly adjust the cars angle in the corner your constantly at PTB and half brake. the car is more controlled in the corner but thats the side effect. I only use LFB on winding roads, dirt, and some autocross courses. no need on full road course. if you press alittle harder with enough throttle you will have controlled oversteer, but only for a bit.
haha!! thats hillarious!! I know if I let yolanda behind the wheel I'd be the one screamin uncle
