For those that have had the flush/fill tsb done, How many times before they got it right? I knew I was going to have to get done it again but after changing my tstat today it looks like the factory tstat was holding some of the sludge back! The gasket also looked like it was falling apart a little.

    Jon,

They had to do mine twice. I had that pucking cottage cheese looking stuff all over in the res. They told me they were going to not only replace the coolant, but the res as well. Come to find out they only changed the coolant. I was an idiot and trusted they did the work and didn't even pop my hood after picking the car up. A few days later I opened her up to clean under the hood and low and behold the "FUCKERS" didn't change the res like they said they were going to and the cottage cheese looking stuff was still there.

The second trip they changed everything out. I opened the hood before I left and found the idiots didn't tighten done the bolts holding the res on to the car. I was lucky the manager happen to walk out and I point it out to him and he had them fix it right away. The biggest thing is make sure they have the new res in stock along with the coolant additive. I had to wait a couple extra weeks due to the additive being on back order. The other thing is open your hood and check it when you pick it up from the dealer.

Good luck and hope this helped, Ryan. :beerchug:

Mine was done right the first time thank God. They have to do each and every step of the TSB and if they don't...it'll come back.

I might have to go into their shop and do it for them, the idiots I go to (rated #1 dodge dealer in the USA for two years in a row) are incompetent! Just had them put on my falkens and roadforce balance them last week and had to go back the next day to have them do it again, and still have to go back again!!!

I agree. In fact, even in their ads that you get in the paper, they never even advertise that they sell SRTs but they do. It's almost always include their base models to lure with price. And I thought they hired new marketing people...seems like they're doing the same shiite.

Well considering who's in charge at Chrysler now I wouldn't be surprised if they started offering lumber too!

Re; wheel balance issue, check to see if they left retaining clips on the wheel studs, holding the rotors in place during manufacturing??, if so have them removed.

P.S., nobody works on my cars without me watching...ever!

I've got 18k miles on the car with no issues with balance, I get new tires and they can't seem to road force balance them correctly! I got them balance at that specific dealer before with no issues until now. Almost starting to wonder if the issues might be with the new tires.

Mine has been flushed with the motor in the car, engine and radiator flushed when we pulled the motor, and I'm on my second bottle. I STILL have some of that crap floating around. It's like an STD that just won't go away.
