Jim made many personal bests last night in the Yearwood Doorslammer Corvette. Just before Maureen and I got to the track, Jim apparently lifted the tires about 3' off the ground. lol If you guys have ever seen Jim race this Vette, the tires rarely leave the ground, and when they do, it is typically no more than 6"... Glad there was no damage (other than a dented header) to the Vette. Now to the good stuff... [email protected] Personal best for Jim 1/8 mile was a 4.91 (another best for Jim) Sorry, I can't remember the trap. lol Jim cut a 1.08 60' which is another best for the ABQ track. All this on a mere 200 shot of giggle juice. Can't wait to see Jim dial the Corvette in with the 250 shot. I see 7.5x up here in ABQ. Congrats Jim!!!
Holy shit!!! Are you fuggin serious??? A gawddang 7.5 second quarter mile???!!!!??!?! Fuckin hell that's movin!!!!!!!! What kind of Vette?
Exactly Chris. And the times I shared are bests at any elevation Jim has raced at. Jim is a fricken artist when he is behind the wheel of that bad ass doorslammer. Here's the Yearwood Corvette...
Thanks everybody. It was a good time. Nice when a plan finally comes full circle. We are just doing some testing now. Next, new digital ignition and a front drive distributor....Then more button over the winter, I would like to spray another 150-200 hp of NOS, if I can harness that much power and get it down to the ground. Thanks for the mention Ron, cool pics, except for the goof in the hat.... Jim
