I bought the DUBAIR CAI back in Sept. of 07 and have never cleaned it. I took a good look at the filter the other day and its pretty dirty - lots of debris in there. My question for everyone is this...I never bought the oil kit that DUB offers for their CAI kits, but I do have K&N cleaner and spray oil from a K&N kit I had from my Firehawk. Can I use the K&N cleaner and oil on my DUB filter or should I just buy the kit from DUBAIR?

That is a good question, is there really any true difference?

Everyone has told me they will all work on each other's if it is a cloth or similar impregnated material. The only ones you can't use the oil kits on are the paper cone ones, which there aren't a lot of anymore for the "reusable" type.

Yea Stevie I don't see why you can't use it, I think those oil/cleaner kits are all the same just different colors. BUT ... I know the DUB kit is quite expensive so if you're at all worried bout ruining the filter and having to replace it you might want to check with DUB first (although I can just about guarentee you they'll say to only use their kit of course). My 2 cents ... now bend over, hahaa!

DUB uses a K and N filter. they dont make their own, so yes you most def can use the recharger on your filter.

Thanks All!!!! I'll go ahead and use my K&N filter charger cleaner and oil on my filter. The K&N oil is Red and my filter when new was Red also so it should look fine when done.

Scottie...I'm bent over for ya!!! Come and get it!!!!!
