Hello ladies and gents. My name is Justin, I'm a Dodge Convert by way of a 2008 Challenger SRT8. Bought it used after the wife convinced me that I deserve it  I gave up a nice crew cab GMC Sierra for this car. I love my trucks, but damned if I don't like getting around faster and louder. First Edition Run sequence number on the car is 6323. It's Hemi Orange and and a co-worker (another owner of a 2010 Challenger SRT8) has nicknamed it Agent Orange. It's an automatic, and before all the haters and purists rib me relentlessly for it, I enjoy a manual, but with shoulder problems it makes it unfun to drive. I have been Active Duty Army for 13 years. Multiple trips to Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm stationed here at Ft. Bragg in North Carolina. Deployments make it and the surrounding area bearable. I grew up in Southern Missouri as a farm kid around beef cattle. I'm a smartass and good natured, but hate posers, smacktards and terrorists. :sly: I support the finest Soldiers in the Army and have been lucky to be in the same unit for 5 years now. I go by jbour13 on other forums. I'm an advocate for our Wounded Warriors (PM me for details if you'd like) and I moderate a gun forum for a company that manufactures the finest gas piston AR-15/M-4 variants available to the general public. That's enough for now, I look forward to interacting with you all and picking your collective brains for knowledge as I begin to go from a stock Challenger SRT8, to a daily driver with attitude.
Dang, Justin. This is the best intro I have read yet. Welcome to the "C" and the PermaGrin club. hehe Congrats on the Purchase. A HUGE thank you for your service. Check out our Military section and sign in there as well. Many of us are veterans on this forum as well as being smartasses. haha You'll fit in just fine here, this I promise.
Welcome to the site!!...and dont apologize for the auto.....manuals are for guys that need to hold something in their hand....:bye:
I´ll second on the intro, nice car you bought, one would fit right into my garage as well... So wellcome from Europe! Fredrik:welcome:
Welcome to the Connection! Thank you for your service!!! I, for one, enjoy the freedoms we have... thanks to you!! :bigwink: Would love to see pics of Agent Orange, when you get a chance!!!
Justin from a SIX MAGNUM family in Salisbury NC. Very nice intro!!! Thank you for your service from ONE vet to another!!!
I have to give a big thanks to you all. This forum is not only a wealth of good information, but a wealth of good people. From PMs to vendors helping me choose what is right for me, to the kind interaction you all display to a newer member like me, again, thanks so much!! I get on here quite often throughout the day to look at my options and to learn what I can about my car. I'll search as much as I can, and try to not ask something that has been covered before. The wife thanks you as well for the wealth of knowledge because it will save us money. With a new fast car, on top of a gun and computer habit, I think she might just lose it. We'll work on her getting a Challenger or other SRT branded addiction I'm sure.
