I am looking for a new car and have my eyes on a 2007 SRT-8 Charger. I recently had a 2005 Corvette so I like the power and the muscle look of the car. Is there anything I should watch out for or be looking for in-particular? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Connection. Naw man, these things are well built rides. Unless the car was running gobs of FI or Juice and saw regular track action. They are bullet proof. I would suggest you don't purchase one that has any type of forced induction on it.

I have a 07 SRT Charger superbee. I love it. I traded my 02 Z06. The charger has great horsepower and torque plus you have room for 5 and luggage.

    Amen!....

the trunk is HUGE and plenty of room for people.

Then you can take it to the track (if you want) and have a good time there.

Will you catch the Mod bug like most of us or keep it stock?

x2!!! The family and connection is one of the things that makes owning an SRT so great! We post pictures of our families, we help people find jobs .. the connection is incredible ..

secondly .. these cars are built well. I have an 06 with 50000ish miles and besides a warrantied trans seal and a power steering pump, this car is a rock.

the moddin has improved from what it was 2 years ago so its easier to get these cars to kick that C5 or Z06's ass ..

if you want my advice .. dont hesitate on buying this car .. I am sure there are plenty out there to be had ...

please stick around the forum and dont hesitate to ask any more questions ... alright pony boy?

You will love any SRT 8 model you get. Bro.

Harm0527 is my brother and I pointed him in the SRT8 Direction. I have a 06 Jeep srt8 and absolutely love it. I would love to have another srt in the family.

The best thing about owning an srt8 is the community for sure. I know the jeep guys have regular meetings at hooters and what not and im sure you can find a good deal of people in Florida.

I dont know if he will mod, maybe after the warranty is up. I didnt think I would mod either but Ive got intake, headers, tune, R1's, tinted tails, etc. as you can see from my signiture. Oppps... lol

I dont have a charger but I promise you you wont regreat the 6.1 :)

    Right guys?

I am from central Florida as well. Little town called Leesburg about 25 miles from Winter Park. I am still looking as the two I was interested in are already sold. I really would like to find silver. There was one other I found but worry about because Carfax listed is as having an accident report. I called the dealer and he said he believes the front passenger quarter was replaced and painted to match. The report said there was an addicent with police report in Sanford. Sounds minor enough, but I dont know until I see it. The car is in Ocoee so Ill have to try to get down to check it out.

Hey Superbee, do you ever get by Ocoee at all? Here is a link to the car I found, but have not had a chance to get down to look at it. http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?paId=137029969

Any of you are welcome to take a look and give me your opinions.

OOO that one looks good. Id say if it was minor damage and repaired and repainted you should check it out. It has low miles and looks very sharp.

    shouldnt you be working?
